North of Canada… (actually even in the south. Ex. Winnipeg)… If you can stand the cold long enough, then you can catch them periodically during the winter season. However in the north of Canada, thats practically all year ’round.

Oh my! My mother had never seen the northern lights before so when I showed her these pictures, she gasped and did not blink for a whole minute.
